El Rey Del Sarandeado Reviews
RIP to the best ceviche spot. I will miss all the food I ever tried and will forever crave the Ceviche El Rey and Ceviche Costero. To the owner or chef: Please give us the recipes or make some and sell it . Thank you.
Randomly spot in the whole. I've been craving mariscos for a while and came across this location. I ordered a campechana without avocado and it was a descent size yet fulling. They are very generous with their portions. My coworker ordered a Raw shrimp ceviche and again very delicious and generous portion. The place was nice and quiet not super loud or busy.
If you're a ceviche fan, this is a pretty good spot. The fish is fresh, and I especially loved the soup! I wasn't a huge fan of my shrimp ceviche, but I'm also pretty picky and don't like seeing the vein. The soup though was great. Nice hole in the wall!
The Infatuation called this the best seafood spot in Long Beach, so of course I had to try it out. It's a true mariscos spot and when we asked our server what she recommended she said "everything". Well she wasn't lying! The menu is huge and we had a hard time deciding because so many items sounded tasty. We started with the Ceviche Costero for something different. It was a large portion and comes in a dark sauce with mango. It was very delicious with large chunks of shrimp. The Tacos Gobernador, shrimp sauteed with peppers and cheese, were the best I've had because they weren't greasy. The true star of the meal were the Camarones en Salsa Langostino. Head-on shrimp are served in THE BEST sauce. I literally could have drank the sauce but they serve buttery rice alongside it so we used that to soak it all up. Every aspect of the meal was delicious and I can't wait to come back. This is a super casual restaurant and worth a visit when the mariscos craving hits.
